Catalytic converter is in the way and the bolt is too long to use a shallow socket. This is a must have tool.

The socket works well I use it everyday for doing Gm transmission bell houseing bolts and for the 3 nut flange exhaust flange nuts on the Y-pipes it grips the bolts well and hasn't stripped anything out yet so I'm happy... had a accident at work ( my old 15mm socket exploded) and I needed it fast with the added shipping it was there by Monday of that week I orded on a Friday night at work... so overall I'm satisfied we will see how long it lasted my other one lasted 2 years it was a Propoint for anyone wondering

Have several trucks at work with issues where the exhaust manifolds and, or, exhaust pipe has to be removed to do repairs. this tool allows easy access and good grip on the three manifold to pipe bolts. Since getting this tool I have been able to remove every one without cussing, fighting or stripping a single one.
