Using an extension will cause a loss of impact removal force delivered to the wheel nut. Used on Ford E350 super duty with dual rear wheels.

I needed an extra deep socket to torque new leaf spring bolts to 131 ft lbs.....Worked perfect,nice addition to tool kit. Great quality and finish.Black oxide rust preventative. Highly recommended.

This socket worked where others failed. A regular deep socket still wasn’t long enough to grab the O2 sensor 7/8 hex head even after I cut the lead. A slotted 7/8 did not have enough grip. This socket worked easily and quickly allowing me to replace my defective sensor

Had a really challenging O2 sensor that was rounded off by an O2 socket. I was hesitant to cut the wires just in case it wouldn’t come out but in order to use this socket, you absolutely have to cut them. Happy to say this tool grabbed right on and with a little effort the sensor broke free and came out. Big relief and well worth the few bucks spent on it.

This extra deep socket is great for removing 02 sensors. I had mostly stripped one trying to get it out and could not get my special O2 tools to loosen it. Cut the wire put this socket on a .5" socket wrench and it broke out right away! This will be my standard process from now on! Its built for impact wrenches too looks very solid and holds the 7/8 nut very well with the 6 sides.

It is really deep. You will have all the internal space in removing any old 7/8 oxygen sensor. Of course you have to cut the cord 1st.

I bought this for removing and recycling 02 sensors from catalytic converters and exhaust pipes. My facility processes at least 5,000 converters a month and we attempt to remove every 02 sensor we come across. A converter and pipe can have up to six 02 sensors and most will have at least one. I haven't done the math, but this socket with an air drill has removed 90% or more of every 02 sensor we put it on, including the heavily corroded ones. I think it's fair to say we have put this through heavy use. After a couple months of use it functions perfectly as it did on day one. I'm positive an employee will lose it before it fails. When that happens I'll be right back here buying another one.
