I measured the OD (Outside Diameter) using a caliper, and it measured 27.98mm, or 28mm for practical purposes. For an impact socket, the OF is about the same as a standard, non-impact socket.One of my standard, non-impact sockets measured 27.75. Just very slighting smaller.So for an impact socket, this is pretty thin walled. Just got it, so don't know about its durability.

This worked perfectly to tighten my lug nuts on my Toyota Camry. The fit was very snug and the walls were the thinnest of all the thin walled sockets I have. Worked well with my aftermarket wheels.

I have not had the opportunity to use these sockets yet. I bought them because if I ever get a flat tire I ca use these thin walled sockets to remove and replace a flat tire. Hopefully they will work if I ever need them.

This thin wall socket did the trick for the after-market rims with minimal space on 21mm lug nuts. A standard socket would not fit. Seems well made and durable although i only used it once so far.

Works where i need it to. Works for cars that have narrow lug wells like my 1996 Camry with factory alloy wheels. Standard thickness sockets wont fit. This thinwall 21mm fit perfect. Made in Taiwan so no supporting Red China.

This is the same review for all the Sunex thin wall sockets. Just an FYI...I only keep these as a back up for when I can only use thin wall sockets to get lug nuts out. I don't use then as an everyday abuse socket, for that I have my standard wall sockets. So with that purpose in mind, these sockets have worked out great for me. I say these sockets because I bought all the sizes necessary i.e 17, 19, 21, and 22 in thin wall version. I found myself always looking for the flip sockets which happen to be thin wall but always had to spend to much time loooking around for then, so I got tired and bought these.I think that if you buy these just as a back up for when the wheel calls for thin wall socket, then these should work out really good for you too. I don't have evidence on there endurance as an everyday socket but i'm sure they would be good as well.
