The chair was very easy to assemble, as the instructions were perfect. The chair is extremely comfortable to sit in and work on my computer. I really appreciate the extra touches like the lumbar support (great for my back), and the fold up arms. The seller's customer service is excellent! I requested the blade wheels to make the chair roll easier, and they are sending at no charge. Unheard of in today's economic environment.

We've been using an office chair that we bought from another big box store since we began working from home, but given that we're still working from home 4 years later, we decided an upgrade was needed. When I saw this SUNNOW Ergonomic Office Chair, Mesh Desk Chair with Adjustable Lumbar Support, I was excited to get a chair that seemed solid and also adjustable. As I'm 5'4" and my partner is 5'10" I also liked that this adjusted in multiple ways since we look for different areas of support in a chair. I personally especially like that it has a bit of flex in the chair for times when you want to tip back a bit. I also really liked that the arms move up since sometimes I like to sit cross-legged and arms usually get in the way of that. The assembly instructions were very clear, but my partner put it together and ended up using some of his power tools to make it go a bit faster/easier. My partner mentioned that there were quite a few screws to put together, which bodes well for the construction and durability of the product, but also that it meant using a bit of force (or power tools) to ensure they were tight enough.A few areas of improvement could be in the wheels as I found them a bit sticky and not as smooth rolling as others, and also in the aesthetic as I found the mesh a bit cheap looking.

I like the look of the chair, and it's fairly comfortable to sit in. The headrest comfort is above a lot of mid high back chairs I've tried which is nice. Many of them fail to come up high enough. The lumbar is a nice addition. Visually the lumbar support looked quite big so I didn't know how comfortable it would be. I do find on the highest setting it is quite nice. The other settings don't work for myself. But I only need the one, so I was able to get a good position for everything..The rocking is alright, but you can't lock it reclined which is a missed opportunity. It would have been really nice if you could lock it in the reclined position. The arms can flip up/down, but that is the extent of the arm adjustability.I do kind of think it would have been nice if the base cushion was instead mesh like the rest of the chair. Just so that everything matched better. And the mesh is good for ventilation. Perhaps it was a comfort choice.*note* about the lumbar. The lumbar support has a strange mechanism. If you lower to the bottom, you can engage the locking mode. If you raise it all the way up to the top, it unlocks and will slide back down without locking if you let it go, as sliding it to the top unlocks it.So you first need to lower it to the bottom, and then listen to the ticks as you pass each notch while raising slowly to the desired height. Make sure to stop before going passed the last notch too far, or it will again unlock and slide down when you release. Count the notches, so you know how high you can go up. Then slide down and start over with the locking mechanism engaged. For example, slide it down to engage locking - then slowly raise it counting to the 3rd click, and stop there locking it in place. (Or raise it all the way up to unlock, and let it slide down to restart).I recommend paying attention when you are installing any screws that are going into plastic components at all. Make sure not to over tighten as it can begin to strip the plastic. All of the parts you need for installation and setup are included. It was doable solo. Everything seemed to fit fine. The wheels are for some reason not great on hard wood thus far. A few of them tend to jam up and then they don't want to roll or rotate without fiddling with it to "unstuck" them. This is probably my biggest peeve. May have to uninstall some wheels and see if they can somehow be tinkered with to prevent this jamming up.Likes:- Headrest. This is adjustable so you can move it to a position that suits you.- Lumbar support. Adjustable.- Easy to build, everything you need is in the box & did not require another person to assemble.- Able to find a comfortable seating position once fully adjusted.- Looks nice.- Mesh back breathes well.- Includes necessary tools, hardware + additional spare hardware.Dislikes:- The lumbar support has a strange/awkward mechanism.- Can lock the rocking mechanism to keep the chair in place, but can't lock in a reclined position, only the default upright position.- The wheels don't always cooperate on a hard floor surface. A couple of them jam up and don't roll/rotate properly at times.

After three weeks with this ergonomic office chair, I’ve found it to be a solid, comfortable choice with some excellent features. Assembly was very straightforward and quick and the chair feels sturdy and well-made for the price. The wide, thick seat cushion is firm and durable, which I appreciate for long hours at the desk, and the swivel arms add extra convenience. The adjustability on this chair is a highlight. The headrest can be moved up and down, which has been great for my longer torso, and I like that the tilt lock can secure the chair at 90° or allow it to tilt freely from 90° to 105°. These options add versatility and let you switch between focused work and a more relaxed position with ease. However, one thing to keep in mind is the lumbar support, which I found a bit too prominent in the lower back area. I’m someone who prefers a more natural, subtle lumbar fit, so the firm lower back support felt somewhat intrusive, requiring frequent adjustments to sit upright comfortably. I reached out to Sunnow customer service with my feedback, and Sophia responded quickly with solutions, explaining that the lumbar support is removable and that they could provide options to address my concern. The prompt and thorough response made a big difference and kept this from being a deal-breaker for me. It’s clear they care about customer satisfaction, and they made sure I had everything I needed to make the chair work for me.Overall, this chair is an excellent choice for its quality, comfort, and adjustability. The responsive customer service and thoughtful design make it a great value, even with the minor caveat about lumbar support (for most people, this probably wouldn't be an issue or could be fixed by using an additional lumbar pillow and/or upper back support to even things out with the curve of the lumbar support). I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and ergonomic office chair with outstanding customer support.

I really like this chair. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. This chair was fairly easy for me to put together on my own. Instructions were clear and I had everything I needed. I think it took me about 45 minutes with some distractions in there and a side note of I suck a building things. The chair is so customizable for your erognomic needs. The head rest moves so you get get the correct poistion. The lumbar portion has 3 levels to be adjusted to allow it to hit your back at the correct height. The chair goes up and down to ensure the correct angle of your hips and knees. I like that the arm rests can be put up. Sometimes I just like to sit cross legged on my chair and other models where the arms stay in position do make this a little more challenging. The relax or tilt function is one of my favourite. Sometimes while working I need to change positions to ease some pressure or just lean back and reflect till I get that light buld moment.I like tha mesh back it's actually rather comfortable. I was a little leary at first. Happy to say I'm not disappointed. On top of that it's breathable. So looking forward to the comfort this will afford in the summer months.I work from home mostly, so a good chair is paramount. This one is an upgrade for me for sure.

The chair took me about 30 minutes to put together. There were no issues. All the hardware and even the handled Allen wrench was included along with some spare parts. I included pictures to illustrate the installation steps. The instruction manual was easy to follow and clearly written. The chair has some great features. Here is what I like:1- Adjustable lumbar support.2- Head rest.3- Flip up arms if you want them out of the way.4- Adjustable height.5- Swivels.6- Can lock the tilt feature.7- Swivel wheels and easy to move the chair around.8- Mesh back, lumbar, and head rest, for ultimate cooling.9- Extra thick seat cushion.I’m about 5’ 8” tall and when I sit in the chair, the head rest is perfect for me. Also, the lumbar support only has an adjustable height of a few inches. For me, again it seems right on.Other than what I stated above, the chair is attractive and smart looking, it is very comfortable, and has features not commonly seen on other office chairs. At the time of this review, there is an available 50-dollar coupon that makes this an even better deal.

This is a very comfortable, well-made office chair. Is it a Herman Miller or Steelcase? No, but it's maybe 80% as good as one of those top-of-the-line executive models, at like 20% of the cost. It's very adjustable: the seat goes up and down reliably on a solidly made gas spring, andcan be adjusted forward and back (using an allen key to adjust bolts; it's something you set up when assembling the chair and then, if you're like me, you tweak it by an inch or so once you've sat in it to test the fit). Armrests have 4 vertical positions and can pivot in and out, and slide forward and back, and the headrest goes up and down by a few inches. So it should be able to fit most peoples' bodies, but most importantly, it is comfortable to sit in for long periods whether typing or leaning back (the seat back can also be locked in at 90 degrees/upright, so you can put your full weight back and it wont tip back, which I find useful). Time will tell how it wears, but I get the sense it's well made, and short of the lift mechanism losing pressure, there's not much that really could break with use. No squeaks, creaks, etc. Assembly is straightforward and well-documented. That might seem trivial, but it's not a given: I bought an adjustable desk at the same time as this chair from another company, and the directions and assembly were absolutely awful. The diagram showed illustrations of parts not included in the desk I'd bought; screws were manufactured so sloppily that they couldn't thread into their holes; several instructions contradicted themselves. So, the Sunnow chair isn't that: parts are well labeled and organized in a cardboard and plastic box that makes assembly as pleasant as possible, and necessary tools are included.I'm 6'3", and I chose Sunnow's chair from many similar-looking clones because of the price, features listed, and because it's advertised as having a deeper seat for those with longer legs. I did find that to be true, and it can be adjusted high enough that only my toes touch the ground. I will say that the headrest, even in the highest position, is still too low to fully support the my head, but it's still comfortable enough to rest my neck on. The mesh seems strong and I can't see it wearing out or deforming anytime soon. It's not as taut as the material on a $500 or $1000 chair... but this isn't one of those chairs. I paid $150 for this thing, including tax and shipping. At that price, the mesh and anything else that's just short of great is more than acceptable. Overall: it's nice to sit in.As much as I'm happy with the chair itself, I'm equally impressed with the responsive customer service. Based on a picture in the listing, I was under the impression that the chair came with a lumbar pillow (this doesn't have adjustable lumbar support, which some, mostly more expensive, models do). As mentioned, I'm unusually tall, and I have a long torso to boot, meaning that what's comfortable for my lower back is probably way outside the norm for most people. I'd guess that most will be comfortable in the chair as-is, no need for an extra pillow, but, even though the seat was comfortable and I'd adjusted everything to the right height for me, my lower back felt kind of slumped in the chair as it came out of the box. But, I'd seen the picture of the pillow in the ad and figured it was included in the box, and it wasn't. Also, a few reviews mentioned that the chair came with rollerblade-style wheels to replace the standard plastic casters. So I thought those'd be included, and they weren't.I emailed their support team asking about the two items (the address is listed in the documentation in the box and easily found on the product page, unlike many sellers who seem to evaporate once they've got your money). A person named Sophia replied within a day explaining that, while the pillow and wheels aren't included by default, they'd be happy to mail both to me, at no cost. The pillow showed up in a few days, and effectively solved my issue with lumbar support. Now, would it be nice if there was an adjustable lumbar mechanism already on the chair? Sure, I could have used it. Is the pillow a totally fine, simple solution to a problem that probably only 10% of people care about? Yeah, and omitting the lumbar adjuster for everyone who wouldn't have needed it surely keeps the overall cost down. The wheels were backordered and took a few more days to arrive, but the person I was emailing with was very communicative about their expected arrival date, gave me updates when they shipped, and responded quickly to my follow-up email. Honestly, this chair itself is good, maybe a B objectively, and a B+ given the low price. The customer service is an A. Based on my interactions with them and the way they publicize their warranty, the company seems to genuinely care about their product and their customers coming away happy (and obviously, they're hoping for positive reviews like this one, which I believe is earned). My only real criticism, as it goes, is that they should either remove the photo of the lumbar pillow from the listing, or else include it by default in the box. And maybe make a note that, while previous versions came with 2 sets of wheels, it currently only ships with one. (Or, again, just include both sets of wheels with all purchases, so people aren't reading reviews that mention the awesome blade wheels and not receiving them in their shipment). The wheels really are a step up, too--they glide smoothly and silently, even over the lip of a dense anti-fatigue mat that I have near my desk, whereas the original wheels, while they're fine, couldn't. So those listing issues are my main knocks against (and the fact that the headrest is more of a neckrest for tall people, and it doesn't stay extended to maximum height very well, it slides back to the lowest position when I do use it).But again: $135 before tax. You can't get a chair nearly this comfortable or well-made at Office Depot or Ikea for that price. I looked--the nearest competitor I found at Ikea, for instance, was $200, had a foam seat (all-mesh was a necessity for me), and didn't have adjustable arm- or headrests. So all in all, I recommend this chair. Even with the caveats, I believe I got a very good product that's way better for my back and neck than the one I'd been using, and I think the price is more than fair, it's a genuine bargain. And based on my customer service interactions, I have every reason to believe that if you don't like the chair, they'll allow you to return it for a refund without much hassle.
