I looked for these buckets for 5 years. It takes two to hold 56 lbs (a sack) of corn, and with the lids they are water proof. I can leave them in the back of my side by side to tend to my feeders, and they won't sweat the corn.

Had to buy a lid to keep squirrels out of the bird seed. They ate through the original plastic lid..... If they can eat through metal, I don't know what to tell you lol..../

Squirrels kept chewing the plastic lids off my 5 gallon buckets of deer corn.They would even push back the vinegar soaked cardboard (didn't repel)This is a worthy upgrade +hasn't rusted yet

Could be made from a little better material or moisture protection, being outdoors it started rusting quite quickly. Next time I will paint with a better quality rust preventing paint.

If you own a 5 or 6 gallon deer feeder from one of the suppliers like moultree, this lid DOES STOP the Critters from getting into it. . I had squirrels chew through my plastic lids and they can bite on this lid all they want!! Hope it chips one of their teeth : ))
