This works good but the handle is kind of weird sort of hard to hold on to for a long period of time. Also the motor really bogs down without even pressing down hard.

I used this machine to re-surface and polish two table saws of about equal size and it worked quite well. I did have two annoying problems however. The 120 grit wheel was out of round and virtually useless, and the machine bogs down and will not operate below the #3 speed setting. I don't need the low speed settings, but if you do you might want to go with something else. If you use this machine I can't stress enough how important dust control is. The picture I'm including shows a (originally) clean mobile dust filter I used for this operation and you can how much fine dust it kicked up. Needless to say I also wore a 3M filter mask and safety glasses. Tips: put a flat washer and split washer to hold the handle tight when you screw it onto its bracket, otherwise it tends to loosen easily, also, for the same reason use a split washer when you secure a wheel to the stem. Also, the motor seems to be poorly ventilated and heats up fast, so I let the machine cool off every now and then. Despite the issue with the wheel and speed control, I think the machine is a good value and would recommend it.

When got it put together it would spin but when you touch the surface your are working with it stops no matter what speed it is set to. Packing was piss poor. Everything just dumped in box and shipped. If I could give zero stars as a review I would.

handle is flimsy price is comparable to baur suface tool at harbor freight same tool but baur has the better design and the rolls are readily replaceable at harbor frieght. get the track club membership and only pay $110 for harbor freights tool same day!

Bought this for various jobs around the shop and for a painting project coming up. This thing is much bigger than expected....in a good way. Has tons of power and comes with 5 different types of sanding barrels. Excellent for the price.
