This edge guide is advertised as being STAINLESS STEEL. It is, in fact, almost entirely made of aluminum, with what appears to be a thin pad of stainless steel stuck to the base.I'd call that deceptive.There are much less expensive edge guides available which are made from aluminum (and do not claim to be otherwise).

This is the best side edge I’ve ever used. It holds the diamond stone on perfectly and if held at the edge allows you to get good leverage without having to apply much pressure. Expensive but if you like good tools this is great!

This is a very well made tool. The built in clamp saves you from having a separate clamp to hold the file and makes for a smaller profile. You still have to fiddle with several moving parts to get the file in the correct position. Makes it easy to accurately bevel ski edges.
