I really love this clock. Unfortunately it was damaged in shipping and of course had to be returned. What I didn't like is the clock frame is made out of plastic not wood. But still looked good.

the problem was with the batteries. Changed batteries and the clock works perfectly now. Sorry for the bad review and am very happy with my purchase.

DO NOT ORDER!! I ordered 3 of these and in the first shipment they were all broken, I sent them back and got 3 replacement clocks and 1 was still broken so I returned it again. THEN even though I sent the clock back using ups and their return label, they claim they never received the package and re charged me for the clock and there was no way to contact them to dispute the charge! Horrible experience over all! Don’t waist your money! They are made with a cheap plastic that easily snaps and breaks. When they are not broken they are very pretty, but 4 out of the 6 I received were severely damaged.

I love my new clock, it's well made and looks like real carved wood, it looks better in real life than in the pictures, it arrived quickly and was well packaged, it's absolutely gorgeous l can't keep my eyes off of it the front has a real glass over the clock face it has a sweeping second hand and it's absolutely noise free the little pendulum swings back and forth silently the wood coloring and the carved flowers look so stunning, I'm thinking about buying two more one for my sister and the other for my brother. In closing it's well worth the sixty dollars l paid for it. James Roark

We purchased this to replace an anniversary mantel clock that just wouldn't keep time correctly. It just arrived and we have it installed.This clock is certainly easy to read! It looks impressive, and a bit baroque with the design, which suits us just fine.It is indeed silent! When I was putting the batteries in, I wasn't sure the second one was in, but when I looked at the front of the clock, it was running. I'm so used to the fairly quiet (but noticeable) 'tick' sound on similar clocks that I was surprised that this is indeed 'silent'.The pendulum was wrapped separately, and had to be attached... this was a little tricky, but manageable.The battery box -- the entire clock part is inserted at an angle. It doesn't seem to affect anything, but it originally looked odd.Getting the batteries in was also a bit tricky... the lower one has the positive and negative positions etched in, but the top battery does not -- instead, the poles are indicated by holes in the plastic... I missed them at first. Also, the pendulum holder gets in the way of the batteries and of the dial used to adjust the time. I think this is rather poor design, but hopefully, I won't need to adjust the time that often.Finally, although this clock looks like it is made of wood, it is not -- is is wood-colored plastic. It's obvious when handled, but it looks nice.Overall, a nice clock, and I hope it holds up.

Love the look of the clockSeems to be keeping timeBUT1. No directions2. Struggled to figure out how to loosen a piece so I could insert the batteries3. Pendulum is almost impossible to attach4. Once pendulum is on it will not swing as it is too long.I have another clock by this company which is great. This one is extremely disappointing as it needs the pendulum to look correct.
