This nickel die caste rim added several more colors to my Ludwig LM400 snare.Amazing rim shots by simply hitting the rim while hold the stick normally! WOW!I balked at the price but enjoy easier tuning with die cast rims . Worth the price!In fact, much drum hardware is still reasonably priced considering todays brandname hardware; ease of use/ruggedness vs. price. Great ratio.

Immediate difference is the weight!! Perfectly true, snare tuned up just right.The rim shots crack like never before.My PDP maple sounds amazing, worth the cost.
