Reasonable quality - one bearing had some very slight notching so that went on the top. Good tolerances, and assembled easily. With preload, the headset is super smooth - much better than my original Aheadset ever was. Note that the bottom is EC34/30.

I replaced a headset on a old 30 years old Rocky Mountain bike, and I am very satisfied.Installation was a breeze, the toughest was to remove the old rusty cups.I used a rubber mallet and wood blocks to gently press the new cups, it worked very well.The fit is perfect, the movement is very smooth, I should have done this years ago !With the bearing enclosed, no more fiddling with little balls.I will definitely buy another headset like this in 30 years.Thanks !

Had to replace a failing headset on one of my mountain bikes. Most "cheap" one started at 40$ so was hesitant on this one. Ordered it none the less and installed it in a few minutes. Works well and smooth. Have it on for the last 3 rides and still feels good. Will see how long it last...ran for years with the older one...for 18$, not bad thus far. happy customer.
