The quality of this sissy bar is good. The problem I ran into was a fitment issue. The seller says it will fit an Indian chieftain I have a 2019 chieftain this DOES NOT FIT OUT OF THE BOX! I did see in past reviews that previous customers had this issue so I was expecting to do a little modification which I ended up doing luckily my 4in grinder did the job quickly. What needs to be done to make this fit correctly is you have to grind the inside of the notches that hook onto your bike both front and back needed grinding I believe it took me roughly 3/16 of an inch off of each notch total per notch then what I had ground I shot with black paint to touch it up and no problems. I could have returned it and got one that would fit out of the box for $500 bucks but for me being mechanically inclined and wanted to save $300 bucks I can't really complain for what it is. It's amazon you win some lose some hope this review helps anyone looking.

Well made aftermarket item. Color is really close to factory but the desert tan is hard to match. Pad is vinyl. It was an affordable solution and my passenger loves it

Worked well on my 2017 Springfield. Need to order the spool mounts separately and slightly file them flat. No biggie.

Does not fit chieftainsReviewed the Q&A prior to ordering. Question was ask and answered if it would fit my chieftain. Answer provided was yes. Reality was no it does not.

This is a sturdy, comfortable High quality back rest. The description doesn't claim it will fit the Roadmaster but I took a chance. The dimensions are all ok except the fork openings at the front and rear where they attach to the frame mounts. The fork openings are 1" wide but need to be increased another 1/4" or so. I used my angle grinder and hogged off some of the metal to make the openings wider and now it fits perfect. Worth the effort to me but if you're not handy or don't like "customizing" then this isn't for you. The alternative was to wait 2 months for Indian production and spend an additional $200. No thanks.

Put this product next to the name brand , and you can't tell the difference. Simple installation, and tight fit. I'm very satisfied, just put a little loc-tite on the nut, and bolt that holds on the locking lever, and you will be good to go.
