Buying the assorted oil makes it possible to try the different viscosity because it’s hard to tell what will work good until you try it, I try to read the reviews which helps a lot to get started. I tried the 35w in my basher and the rebound feels very good. I used the 25w in my crawler because the springs are softer than the basher and it turned out good too. When you empty the existing oil from the stock shocks, you’ll notice that a number of them have less oil than the other or the oil is just too light. With oil in stock, you don’t have to worry about this and you have choices. Even when I ordered oil filled shocks for my basher, the dampening didn’t feel like enough.

Perfect variety and enough oil in each bottle to fill 8 HSP 1/8 shocks! I used the 25w for my 1/10 Arrna Senton 3s BLX and it rides great.

I bought a set of shocks and they didn't come with any oil in them. So I was looking around to see who had shock oil. No body had any or they were backed order. The one sight was 93 dollar's. I came across this sight and they had what I was looking for. They came super fast and before schedule date. Thank you!!! I'll be ordering soon again. Great set of synthetic oils, especially if you don’t know which oil weight to use. I have a Traxxas TRX4 and I know that it comes with 30 weight oil, but I’m also testing out which weight might work better in different scenarios. I’m currently running the 20 weight with a droop setup, which is a fully compressed setup that allows the tires to droop down for x length for maximum contact. Where x is the length of your suspension rod. With the 20 weight it articulates and flexes my rock crawler instantly, but with the side affect of the droop setup the truck sits roughly 5mm lower than the sprung setup.The synthetic oils are great to run throughout the year without viscosity breakdown during hot or cold temperatures. Well at least better than crude oils types. I wouldn’t run anything but synthetic oils in my shocks and these are considered the standard. Oh and I've rebuilt my shocks 3-4 times already with different rebounds and have removed/added the same oil weight here and there, and I still have 3/4th of a 20 weight oil left. So 2 oz goes a long ways if you're just testing different setups with a single oil weight.
