Your cart is empty.The tecnifibre black code is pentagonal polyester string designed to have better elasticity which delivers more pop a bigger sweet spot and less shock at impact. The string also has a pentagonal shape for increased spin and feel. It's aimed at frequent string-breakers and can be used as the durability half of a hybrid.

The Luxilon ALU Power 125 tennis string was my go to string but I did switch to technifiber black code on my mains for power and this Gosen OG sheep gut “synthetic” on jmy crosses, for spin and control, but this is just my personal experience, preference, and particular style of play. I play with a lot of power and a ton of spin so this hybrid set up works best for me.

Used to play w Luxilon Big Banger then switched to Solinco Hyper G because I’ve had wrist surgery in the past (due to the trauma of going to poly to gut “back in the day”)…now dealing with on/off tennis elbow the past year or two…saw these reviewed on YT last year and decided to give them a try…my new favorite string and offers a good mix of power, spin, feel, and durability…looks good on my Tecnifibre racquet (T-fight ISO 305) to boot…I recommend!Currently play at USTA 18&over and 40&over 4.5/5.0 levels in TX

With this string I have the control I was looking for. It has plenty of spin, but I was after control and power. And with this string I got it. Even better in 17 ga.

Soft-poly they say, I found them more forgiving than others I've used in the past, but it is still a polyester string and it's stiff. If you have arm problems like I do, you should try combining it with a softer string like the TECNIFIBRE X-1 BIPHASE (16), its a multifilament that last surprisingly long considering.
