The product worked as designed but it is bulky & cord needs to be a little longer. Working for a Dealership, our intent was to use this to test OEM trailer plugs on trucks while driving to assess concerns for trailer connection that customers sometimes report seeing pop-up in their dash display. Working on pickup trucks, we find the cord to be about 5' too short to be practical in using the tester while driving. We made up a plug-in 10' extension using conventional 7 conductor wire with male & female 7-pin plugs to overcome this. The tool otherwise proves invaluable to test the vehicle without a trailer on-hand, particularly if the customer is present. This tool completely eliminates a customer's insistence that a fault lies with the vehicle and not their trailer... the proof is right before their eyes. Fast & easy to use in the shop or right on the dealer lot with the customer present! Deducted only one star because the cord is just slightly too short to have the tester in the cab of pickup truck applications, particularly while driving.
