It's God awful to use, heavy, and unsafe. It says it can be partially extended, you know, the point of a telescoping ladder. But if you extend the A-frame partially, you can't even lock the unextended rungs, they end up extending WHILE YOU ARE ON IT, leaving you on the ground & injured. Yet they advertise this feature and discuss it in the manual.Useless, dangerous.

A little heavy but very sturdy as an A frame and straight ladder.

Good Concept not safe if extended all the way up, flimsy and the ladder will slip. I would only use this for "A" ladder or vertical thats only 75% up, there isn't enough grip for the floor and slips when extended all the way up, luckily I had someone spot me and put their feet to stop the ladder from slipping further before I have a heart attack.See the photo how much it flexs in the middle and it makes you really wonder if OSHA came and see this ladder I'm sure I'm going to get a ticket.I do no recommend going pass maybe 10ft of vertical height, even I'm 190lbs it was very sketchy.

I have a love hate with this thing. I purchased for the sake of not having storage space for a large extension ladder. I've had it 5 months now and have used it a handful of times, both extended and folded. The levels lock and prevent it from slipping down, but they can still go up on you, so you have to be sure not to lean forward to reach something or the next level will slide out on you. So you have to have it completely extended out or you run the risk of the un-extended levels sliding out on you if you are leaning to work. It's tricky lowering the levels as well - you have to be sure to keep your fingers out of they way or they will get pinched. And you've got to lower one side, then the next. If you lower too many levels on one side, it will slip down hard and hit you in the head. I'm not sure if it is just this particular brand or if they are all made this way. I think it should be made so that the level locks in place from going up or down until you press a button. and the button might be better on the side so that you don't risk pinching your fingers when the rung comes down. All in all, it's functional, but takes care and finesse to operate.

In my opinion and my experience: This ladder is an absolute fail for me! That is all I should have to say! It works as a ladder, but the workability, transportability, operation to extend and retract, user pain and likability once you use it I found to be miserable! Here are a couple of things to consider: It is heavy so when you are extending it and retracting it you must be very careful. when moving it, the nylon strap must be secured, or the legs will extend. The strap is plastic, but essential. when you climb it like an extension ladder the rungs will not be at the same spacing, you can hit the metal bar that controls the locking angle. Fully extended it does not feel sturdy around the hinges. retracting it is a little tricky and watch the fingers! finally, the cross bracing seems flimsy and gets in the way of operations. Missed my return window, so it will be heading to recycling!

Bought this to keep in our motor coach as it does not have a rear ladder. This works awesome. Sections lock in place no issues. I use it to clean windows and get on the roof. Folds up nice and we keep it in the basement storage area. It’s not the lightest ladder but that goes to the quality.

I’ve been using the Soctone 16.5 Ft Telescoping Ladder for a couple months now, and it’s proven to be a smart addition to my home improvement/maintenance "tools". Whether I’m cleaning gutters or accessing hard-to-reach shelves in the garage, this ladder gets the job done efficiently.Pros:• Compact & Portable: Folds down small enough to store easily in a closet or vehicle trunk.• Dual Functionality: A-frame and extension modes offer great flexibility for various tasks.• Sturdy Build: The aluminum construction feels solid and safe, even when fully extended.• Easy to Use: Smooth telescoping mechanism with clear height locks ensures hassle-free setup and takedown.• Non-Slip Feet: Grips well on most surfaces, giving added confidence during use.Cons:• Slight Flex at Full Extension: Not dangerous, but noticeable when climbing higher rungs.• A Bit Heavier Than Expected ( Still Not TOO Bad Though): Portability is great, but carrying it long distances can be a bit tiring.Overall, this is a high-quality, well-designed ladder that strikes a great balance between versatility and compactness. Ideal for DIYers, homeowners, and light professionals.

This ladder is incredibly sturdy and great for many uses. It folds up pretty small so we can store it anywhere without taking up much space. The height is great, we can finally get up to our gutters and put up holiday lights. I'm 5'2" and got up to the roof without needing to go past the top 3 steps. The only thing to watch for is it's tough to open it all the way up, you need to do it evenly on both sides as you go. Same goes for closing it up or making it smaller, it's complicated because you need to pinch with both hands but risk hurting yourself if you place your fingers in the wrong spot. The ladder is pretty heavy, but that's to be expected for the size and stability needed.
