Only the tulip lights up on this garden light, and the hummingbird isn’t illuminated by it so it loses its effect.

Love the look of this garden decoration both day and night. The light has a nice soft glow which is accented by the varied colour of the flower petal.

The hummingbird and flower are beautiful glass. The overall look is very pretty, especially when lit. The on/off switch is a little weird, like a soft, spongy kind of button, but it's really a switch. So for the first minute or so I was pressing it trying to get it to turn on, but then looked closer at it and realized it was actually a switch and not a button.The only thing I was disappointed with really was that it appears that this was opened and returned for some reason, as the glass parts were not really wrapped in anything other than a plastic bag covering the whole piece. But there was a tiny ripped piece of bubble wrap in the bag. The sticker that goes over the solar panel also looks like it was removed and stuck back on. The styrofoam box was a mess and full of dents and holes. I'm not even sure this is the box it should have come in because I tried to repackage it (I bought it as a gift for my mother-in-law), but spent like 15 minutes trying every possible position and it just doesn't work, which explains the mess of styrofoam. The person who sent it back either put it in the wrong box, or it came that way and they just shoved it in there.Regardless, it is a nice piece and I will just wrap it nicely in my own bubble wrap and put it in a gift bag instead of trying to put a circle in a square.
