Like most of us, I bought these handlebars so that I could ride in a more upright position. My old bars had me constantly leaning forward, this became more uncomfortable when having to ride with a backpack full of camera gear. Also, my stock handlebars forced my wrists into a painful angle when wrapping my fingers around the grips. The 45mm rise and increased back-sweep on these new Crockett bars promised some relief so I ordered them. I installed the new bars, and they fit nicely into the 35mm clamp. The new handlebar was slightly more comfortable after I trimmed the ends and got the best tilt dialed in. The powder-coat is thin on these, so be careful when installing. Btw, 45mm rise and 8mm back-sweep was the most I could find for a 35mm handlebar. For the money, I really can't complain.
