This was the prefect accent for my European mount on my wall. I loved the way the dark silhouettes showed up on my light colored walls and drew attention to the mount. The only problem was we had to drill 2 new holes through the plaque, because the holes that were in it (that we assume were for mount plaque to the wall) were not positioned to hit a stud at the same time. The holes were parallel to each other, about 2 1/2” apart. So we instead drilled 2 holes perpendicular to each other about 4” apart under where the mount covers and used dry wall screws 3” drywall screws to hang plaque in a stud. Then we put some black electrical tape around post to keep mount from shifting around and then put mount on. It was extra work, but I am happy with my finished look.Also, FYI…no hardware is included for attaching this plaque to anything. And the holes that they have in the plaque are very large, so I don’t know how they would expect you to use them to hang it on the wall.

It was well worth the money. Exactly what I was looking for. Went to buy again and found they were out of stock. It also says it may not be available again. If they do I will buy more.

Arrived today and within 20 minutes it was up with my trophy displayed on it. (That's with making a cup of coffee too). Looks great on the wall and surprised me with the quality of the material. Feels like iron, bit heavy (but a good heavy) and perfectly painted. Very impressed on how it looks on the wall! It actually classes up the fact you are putting the remains of something dead on the wall. (well you are! - but damn proud of it.) Very happy with the purchase, delivery, and results. Thanks.
