I haven't tried them out for skiing yet, but these are just what I was looking for, which was a warm and thin pair of ski socks that won't change the fitting of ones' boots. These are perfect!

If you need a lightweight sock for your ski boot, this one is it. I bought additional ones after trying out the first one. It is still warm enough to keep your foot warm in a boot. This sock was plenty warm for California and Canada, but not sure about skiing in very cold such as Sugarloaf, Maine. But to be honest when I am that kind of cold, I can't ski for more than 2 hours at a time, need to warm up to prevent any frostbite!

These turned out to be longer than expected, thinner and sizing ran large. It was a good price when I bought so decided to keep. I usually am very happy with Thorlo but these didn't seem to be the same quality.

I purchased new boots/bindings over the summer, and the boots fit very tight so I was worried they would be a problem. I ordered these socks based on other reviews, and I'm very happy. They aren't the warmest, but they aren't really supposed to be, either. They fit great, wick moisture, and definitely give me some foot room I wouldn't otherwise have in my tight boots.

With the miserable, cold winter we're having here, these have been fabulous for my daily walks. They're comfortable and long enough to keep the bottom of my legs, as well as my feet toasty warm. I highly recommend them.

OK I love these. I need thin socks for my boots and like them so they do not move around. They worked great for what I was looking for. Good stuff! So far they are holding up well. I bought two pair and ski them exclusively.Steve

my thin soccer socks kept my feet warmer during skiing. definitely not worth the money
