And I don’t drive much, less than 5k miles. Started getting an intermittent dead pedal and eventually a check engine code for the pedal (I believe it was a P2121). Pulled this thing out, problem solved. Save your money.

Worth every penny. Woke up my 3rd gen 2.7, definitely feels much more responsive. You don’t have to stab the pedal all of the time to get it going, a lot less input needed to make it go. I’ve found P2.7 is the best overall setting for me. For $50, it really makes the driving experience better, truck feels alot less labored to drive.

Look.....I wanted to love this thing and I wanted to spend less than 300 fora pedal commander type device. Upon installing the car turn on just fine. No errors no issues. Put it on eco and drove around the neighborhood no issues. I then stoped, put the car in park. Change it to sport mode and my check engine light and traction control pop on. I try and drive and the truck and it won’t move. I mash the gas in drive and it revs up but wheels don’t turn!!! I’m freaking out bc my car won’t move so I unplug the device and the same issue. My car is completely disabled. After removing the device I had to restart my car about 10 times and disconnect the battery to get the errors to go away and my car to move which they did. I do not recommend this thing tho

I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. It's an over landing vehicle that's lifted 3 in, on 33's, steel bed bars, steel front bumper, winch, and a rooftop tent. As you can imagine all the extra weight makes the acceleration very sluggish even though the engine is capable. I was skeptical about using this because I watched YouTube videos with mixed results. I was also worried about safety. However after install all those concerns went away.Pros:-Installed in 5 minutes-Straight forward, easy to use-Comfort mode is great for getting rid of ETB delay-Sport mode is great for quick acceleration and shiftingYou have to know that this will change the way the pedal engagement works. It will be more sensitive obviously. I think some people who have installed it don't take the time to allow their brain to recalibrate how much they need to push on the pedal (much like if you borrowed someone's car and you weren't used to house sensitive the gas was compared to yours).Highly recommended over the pedal commander which is just ridiculously overpriced.

Every time i install, it knocks my truck into limp mode and i get check engine/traction control lights. Tried 3x now. It will work on P1 mode for a bit, unless i step on the gas, then lights come back on and back into limp mode. It’s cool when it’s working, but likely a safety issue if it cuts out in traffic

My 2012 tacoma v6 4wd has always felt sluggish because the pedal pressure effort is high and the pedal has a long travel. I didn't want to spend $300 for a remapped throttle pedal so I purchased this inexpensive one. It was easy to install, just insert between the gas pedal and the existing wiring harness, plug and play. It has transformed the truck, it feels much more responsive and downshifts much easier. I wish I had purchased this item years ago. I checked my gas milage today and am still getting between 16 and 17 mpg, all small town city driving as I did before installing this device. All it does is give more throttle per distance of accelerator travel, but it makes the truck much nicer to drive.

It's worth the money...easy to use and simple to install..Wow....it will put you back in your seat in race mode...I highly recommend it...

I was skeptical at first. I looked at this device for about 2 months before buying and I'm glad I did. Install was simple and it is pretty small so its not obnoxious on your dash. Good amount of cable and display is easy to understand. After installing, I noticed the difference out of the driveway. This thing works pretty damn good for the price. The throttle response is dramatically improved right away. In it's 1st setting you notice a slight improvement. 2nd seeing is perfect, you don't burn your tires from a stop and it's kind of casual, but a lot better. 3rd setting is like you almost are flooring it everywhere you go, is a little too much honestly. My wife drove my truck and said she doesn't like it because it makes her feel unsafe! It hauls ass now, no exaggeration. Im an attractive driver too. I go about 5-10 mph over the limit consistently and I'm impressed. If you are on the fence and like me cant justify dropping around $400 on a Pedal Commander, look no further, this is the one.

Installed on a 2021 Tacoma SR5 on 11/27/20. Noticable increase in throttle response! Driving in P2.6 mode seems like the best option so far. Makes my Tacoma SR5 I4 drive like a Tacoma Sport V6! Super easy plug and play installation. Happy so far, and will update once I've had it for a month or so.Update 12/13/20: Loving it so far. Found that P1.9 was a good mode to stay on as P2.6 is just a tad too jumpy off the line. If I need the extra boost (to merge into highway traffic, to get out of a lot into a busy street, etc) I can quickly switch from 1.9 to 2.6, and even 3.9 to boost power and then switch back down again. Note sure what exactly EC economy mode does as my MPG and MPT doesn't seem to change at all.
