This polisher eats brushes and you can't find replacements. My wife got through 2/3 of a square body truck, used both set of brushes and the machine finally just crapped out. We actually ordered a second one just to get through the truck in the time frame she was up against. Waiting for this on to die as well.If you have a hundred bucks to waste and just need something in a pinch, by all means but this tool will let you down. I think it's just a rebranded Harbor Freight tool, don't waste your time with it.

I don't throw tools into the street in anger often, but this is one of them. Variable speed? Not when it gets hot. Delay on the trigger? Only if you are polite... it wont turn on if you get too quick into it. Maybe it could sand? Not at all - remember the heat talk?Once the resistance kicks in and the heat starts it might as well be single speed... this thing is terrible even by harbor freight standards.Would throw out again - great feeling getting it out of my life.

I use this for deck refining with scrubbing pads . Not a bad tool

Quit working with a burning smell after 20 minutes, so I returned it. In all fairness, this was one of Amazon's open box "Warehouse Deals," which means someone else had returned it too. But that's not why I dislike the unit so much. The mandrel won't accept a standard buffing wheel; the post is too short. And the trigger has a delay built into it so it starts slowly and is impossible to feather. If you've used one of these before, you'll find this "feature" very annoying. Look elsewhere.

Unit was for a very good deal but it has 6 speeds and not variable speed. Was a good deal for what I recieved.
