This is an average toaster, the trick is - don’t expect too much! The only really good toasters are made by Lockheed Martin (“lockmart” if you have the appropriate clearance) and cost $7000. Again, it’s not about you or anything you cherish, it’s a toaster made by “Malaysians who care” and it’s not going to get better anytime soon.

This is a basic toaster that toast bread and bagles. minimal electronics, small and efficient. Did not want or need or the fancy electronic adjustments. Works well,. we will see how long it last though. If you want a toaster, not a electronic doo dad, this is the one.

Plug in cord comes out under the "down" lever instead of the back of the toaster near the wall. Why...so you have to turn your toaster "sideways" on your counter so the "brand" name is showing. In effect this makes an extension cord a must. Comes with short plug in cord as well. This is an expensive toaster and after buying at local and on line a few toasters and returning them I now find they are all doing this and saying in the instructions that it is safer with a shorter cord. Bull.

I don’t know what happened to the days where you could just buy a toaster and it worked. This toaster does not toast evenly, it does not toast light toast at the lowest setting. It still comes out brown on one side. It took longer than usual to toast, and did not work. I returned it.
