I ordered this filter grid set for a Hayward DE4820 filter, and I am pretty pleased with them. They fit perfectly, so they were easy to install, and they seem to be made pretty well.However, with that said, I do not think the quality of these grids is quite as good as Hayward OEM grids. They just don’t seem quite as sturdy and durable as OEM Hayward grids.But, of course, this grid set is not as expensive as a set of OEM Hayward grids. So, ultimately, you just have to decide if you want top quality grids or if you want to save a few dollars.If you have any questions about this Toread filter grid set, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. I really wish I didn't have a DE filtration system in my pool but since that's what I've got I'm kind of stuck with it. Biggest frustration was having to pay such high factory prices for the replacement DE filter grids. I saw this aftermarket brand become available I jumped on the opportunity to try it out in hopes that I would find a value replacement and save a little money. Comparing these grids side by side with the Hayward grids, they seem to be of similar construction both in the frame and in the filter media. I've had them installed for three months now and so far I have not experienced any problems. I may have found my new go to for DE grids

I purchased this to replace the current filter sails. I have not installed them due to the weather, but I compared them to the old ones and they are identical to the ones I have. I am confident that they will do he job.

This maybe an aftermarket filter, but it works great. I'm very happy with the performance. It's nice quality. Fits our system perfect. It's priced right. It arrived very fast. I highly recommend it.

One of my most vivid childhood memories was my dad complaining about the hassle and expense of maintaining a swimming pool. Actually, he still complains about that. Since he complains about most things, that's not a surprise. What he fails to appreciate is how technology and a thriving aftermarket of well made and functional replacement filters have made his 'pool maintenance gripe' less of an issue. It's just not as difficult, time consuming or costly as it was 'back in the day'.There's plenty of companies making aftermarket filters but a half dozen or so rank at the top. They make products that are just as good--if not better--than the OEM and sell them at a significantly lower price. TOREAD is one of the brands at the top of the niche. These filters are a perfect replacement for the Unicel FS-2004 filters that I use. They fit perfectly, are made just as well as the OEM product and do just as good of a job at keeping the pool clean. The only real difference? They cost significantly less. My dad might not appreciate that but I sure do. Highly recommended!

This pool filter grid replacement set is an excellent value and performs just as well as the more expensive brands. After swapping out our old grids with these, we noticed an immediate improvement in water clarity. My husband, who handled the installation, said the replacement process was quick and easy, which is always a plus. If you’re looking for a high-quality, cost-effective DE filter grid replacement, this set is a solid choice. It delivers excellent filtration, durability, and easy maintenance without the premium price tag. Definitely recommend!

This review is for the TOREAD PLFFS-2004 DE Filter Grids. This set of filter grids was a direct replacement for the filter grids in my Hayward DE-4800 filter. Installation was not that difficult. Just remove the filter canister band and remove the bad grids. Note that all the grids are not the same size and must fit into their respective position in the grid holder. Reverse the process, install the new grids by aligning the holes with the top and bottom grid holders and secure. The grids seem well made and no DE was returned to the pool when activating the filters with new DE. Recommend

We don't use our swimming pool much in January in Pennsylvania. It’s a little cold here. Consequently, a full review of these filter grid's performance will wait until after opening day.But, I did install them in our DE4820 filter housing. The grids appear to be identical to the OEM grids included with the Hayward filter. The quality looks good and they fit well. Installation was easy. Nothing had to be forced or tweaked to align the grids with the manifold.We have lots of landscaping and trees around our pool and they give the filter a good workout. The real test will come after the pool is reopened and this review will be updated at that time.
