Run far far away from this one. I was like ok gasket and bolts a plus. However the drain plug worried me but I was like no it will be ok. Weakest point drain plug I have a stinky mess in the driveway now!

junk do not buy oil plug leaked after oil was put in could not stop it from leaking the gasket was torn I had to purchase another one from local auto supply e-mailed customer service no help they suck waste of time and money threw it in the trash bought another brand

The Chevrolet diffs have a 3/8" square drive fitting that after a lot of years it gets hard to remove. This was a good solution with the fill plug in the cover. For the price, I thought it was fairly good quality.

Couldn’t believe the quality of this product when it arrived. It feels as tough as it looks. Looking forward to a long life with it on my truck.

In the description it says the plug on the cover is to be used as a fill plug. No way would you be able to use the plug for a fill or a drain. Spend the money and get a better cover. Picture of the cover is upside down.

Very nice cover. Way more heavy duty than i thought but, I do recomend buying a set of ARP bolts.

Changing the rear differential oil, I decided to buy a new pan/filter. After careful research, i chose this one. Fits nice and looks great on my Z-71 lifted Chevy 4 x 4. Easy and exact fit! Plus, i used Permatx RTV silicon gasket and no leaks!

Bolts are cheap, come without washers and break VERY easy.I HAD A BOLT BREAK OFF INSIDE OF MY DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING APPLYING A VERY LIGHT AMOUNT OF PRESSURE!Bolt wasn't even being torqued yet and all of a sudden I got that feeling that no guy wants to get when threading something, cross threaded! But no, this was even better, the bolt head just completely snapped off with a very small amount of pressure. Very cheap metal, almost looks like white metal inside which I was able to see since unfortunately it snapped apart. Really Trans-Dapt? I was holding the 3/8ths driver I was using by the head, not the handle, as to make sure I didn't over tighten. Just snapped right off! Now I'm looking at a major repair.Welp, now I got a bolt stuck inside of my differential housing so yeah...pretty well screwed (no pun intended).The 1 star I gave it was because I can't give it 0 and the cover and gasket did fit correctly.I would probably avoid this kit all together or at very least DO NOT use the bolts that are included, get your own!PS- Almost forgot to mention, when I tried to tighten down the cover fill plug since it came from the factory loose, I had tighten it to the point of the bolt almost stripping out for it to fully seal and stop leaking.Compared to other kits, this one seems to be overpriced and of very low quality.
