Using the "tool" from traxxas to install results in 50% breakage. These plastic things are a joke and traxxas should have long ago gotten rid of this design. If you need this part, get the metal one.

Work perfect for the XL-5 Stampede. These wil last a long time. If you go brushless I would recommend steel cvd's though.
