Tremco Vulkem 116 One-Part, High-Performance Polyurethane Sealant One-Part Grainy Textured Finish Primerless Adhesion on Most Common Construction Surfaces Durable and Flexible Seal Features and Benefits: Tremco Vulkem 116 has demonstrated superior primerless adhesion to porous substrates for 30 years, and is the choice for sealing expansion joints in commercial construction applications. It can be used exterior or interior with adequate ventilation. Vulkem 116 is also suitable for certain water immersion applications. Tremco Vulkem 116 is also rated for 25% movement capability. Tremco Vulkem? 116 Sealant is a one-part moisture curing, gun grade polyurethane sealant. Vulkem? 116 is durable, flexible, and offers excellent performance in moving joints. No primer is required on most construction materials, and it applies with conventional caulking guns. It is an excellent general purpose sealant designed for use in precast, masonry, glazing, window frame perimeters and similar types of construction joints. Suitable for continual immersion in water with the appropriate primer. Designed for exterior and interior use. The light grainy texture has proven very popular for matching textured substrates like stucco and masonry, and for smooth metal storefront joints the light texture blends and hides tooling marks and the wavy effect that is inevitable when tooling sealants. Color: Bronze Contents of Cartridge: 10.1 fl oz (300 ml) Tremco Vulkem 116 Color Chart Joint Design: Vulkem 116 may be used in any vertical or horizontal joint designed in accordance with accepted architectural/engineering practices. Joint width should be 4 times anticipated movement, but not less than 1/4 (6.4mm).

I read the online product information and it says indoor use is permitted with adequate ventilation. My project was to calk the joints of cedar plank flooring on a former elevated wood deck attached to my home that I am converting to a sun room with lexan ceiling and sides. However, on the label of the actual tubes, in very fine print, it says ONLY outdoor use and never indoor use even if there is no one using the area during the rest of construction! Also, the cure rate is very slow: 1/16" of depth each 24 hours at 70 degrees and average humidity. In my case, I had to wear a gas mask to apply the calking due to very disagreeable odor. After application, the weather turned cool with average temperatures of about 40 degrees, even though some days in sun room, the temperature got over 80 degrees! The tubes said that every 10 degrees lower make an extra day curing time per 1/16". Well there has been 2 1/2 months since application and the odor is so strong and disagreeable, I am only able to go into the area with a high filter gas mask, even with two big windows open and fans operating, circulating and blowing out the area (10' X 16').We have decided to remove current wood floor decking ( 2 X 6 cedar planks) and throw it away and start with new sub-flooring. So the moral of the story is; experience is the best teacher!

Received the wrong color, but didn't look at it when I received it. Just getting to the project this spring, and have to repurchase.
