Like others have noted, my sign also has the three deep scratches on the front. I guess it adds to it's charm or something, but should still be ok. I also wanted to point out that the sign is listed as being made of "wood" and while technically true, isn't the whole story. It's made out of MDF, which is basically sawdust compressed into board shapes. MDF can be a great product used to make shelves, cabinets, all sorts of things. One thing MDF isn't good at though is dealing with moisture, it sucks it up and expands, damaging itself in the process. That's a concern for me as I am planning on hanging this in the main bathroom. I can seal it with lacquer or something as a water barrier, but annoying that I have to take that extra step.

The product is exactly like the photo, except for one thing… there is a giant scratch mark going right through the middle of the sign. Not a little one a deep thick cut right through the middle of the words. I thought maybe this was a product defect and I just got unlucky but upon looking at other sign’s people had purchased, I realised that’s not true, they’re all like this. Apart from that is good quality, strong wood and good paint job. A shame about the scratch.
