I have used these for many years. The hold up very well and seem to last the best of time. They don't seem 100% waterproof, I would guess it more condensation than anything but it's not enough to damage the paper work inside. Makes keeping you trailers paperwork in one location easy and convenient, you always know where it is. 4 star rating is only because of the condensation.
