I watched a YouTube of how to install. However, the way the latch that holds the ball and metal wire (on the car) need to be shortened. As I'm not a mechanic, I took it to a friend's. He works on cars. He tried to fix that part but it was the last plastic red clip that we could not attach. We even tried to switchi it out for the original clip. No luck, didn't work. After that, I took it to my machanic. He fixed it, but explained that now the inside pull lever does not work with it. In any case, it'll work but you have to adjust your car to get it to work and even then, it may not work for the release lever from within your car.
