- Minimum Focusing Distance of 0.2m. Photographers can take advantage of the super close focusing distance (only 20 cm/7.9 in. from the sensor) and the f/1.4 aperture to create unique wide angle close-up shots with beautiful bokeh.
- Clicked Aperture. With the clicked aperture, you can switch without looking at the lens, especially shooting at night.

Mixing a comfortable wide-angle design with an ultra-fast maximum aperture, the 17mm f/1.4 lens is designed for use with APS-C-format mirrorless cameras and provides a 25mm equivalent focal length. The optical structure of this lens is 9 elements in 8 groups and the angle of view is 81° . Characterized by its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture, this lens is adept at working in low-light conditions and also affords increased control over depth of field for selective focus control. It's a fast and portable lens well-suited to landscape, nature, and street photography.

Bought this because I needed a quick lens to shoot with for every day scenarios and it did the job very well. Works very well with my Sony A7IV and the pictures I take with it come out very very sharp. The size of it is so convenient too because it can fit in my backpack so easily.

This lens has serious vignetting when mounted on my Sony Alpha 7 III. The dark halo covers about 15% of the frame. I cannot recommend it. Perhaps it would be better on a different camera model.

There was a machining defect on the lens mount of this lens, and it scratched the lens mount of my wonderful Lumix camera!

This lens on my Panasonic S5 crops the sensor shooting 4K. Don't be afraid with this camera in APS-C mode, it's still awesome. Now this lens is okay for a very cheap lens, it's modestly sharp at the wide open end, do stop down a 1/2 stop and it slightly improves. Heavy vignetting, heavy flare at night from light sources, overall sharpness is okay.Compared to the Sigma 16mm F1.4, THERE IS NOT MUCH COMPARISON, THE SIGMA IS BETTER IN EVERY WAY I FOUND. The sigma is usually much more expensive, but on holiday weekends I have seen it for $189.00 at a reputable NYC store that starts with an A.Also I need several matching lenses at a time, this brand had severe inconsistently between copies I tried.
