These are solid breeches. Basically you get what you pay for-- if you want super high quality breeches then you're going to have to pay more money (check out Dover or SmartPak but expect to pay upwards of $60). However, for the price, the breeches are nice. I use these as dependable practice breeches, but I personally wouldn't show in these. The tan coloring was slightly too yellow/mustard-y for my liking, but it's not awful or anything. The fabric isn't my personal favorite (it's not the most breathable) but it's soft and very comfortable. The fit was nice! I wear between a 4-6 in US pant sizes, and the 28s fit nicely. If you have narrow hips you could do the 26s, but I prefer to have a just slightly looser fit for practice.

The fabric is nice and thick, but a little bit rough. The knee patch is made of an even thicker material, but the waistband is just an elastic band. All in all, they seem decent quality for the price.I am 5'3" and typically wear size 9 jeans. I have a 27 inch waist, but a 40 inch booty, so I had no idea what size to get. I got size 28 and it seems to fit well. It is comfortable around the waist and booty but it is a little lose around the legs, and the legs are very long (as everything fits is when you are as short as me!), but they are mostly cotton and will probably shrink when washed (I will try to remember to update this after a few wears/washes).** Update: They did shrink in the wash, and actually fit a little nicer. The fabric has also softened up just a little. So far (3 wears) they are holding up nicely.

Have worn one time, straight out of the package, to ride for two hours. Fit was good. I’m 5’8” 155lbs and I ordered a 30. Very comfortable to ride in, however when I got off I noticed the stitching had already started to pull apart leaving me with small holes down the seam at my butt and around the knee patches!!! Disappointing but for the price I won’t be returning them. I’ll just always have to wear tights under them so I don’t flash anyone if the holes keep getting bigger. Will be “splurging” for better quality breeches in the future.

I was looking for cotton breeches that were lighter and more breathable in hot weather. These seemed comfortable and fit the bill for casual, lighter breeches. However, after one short wear the seams began to come out. The size was right, not too tight (in fact they were a tad large on me, but I liked that). So that wasn't the issue with the seams. Unfortunately I either received a bad item, or the quality of the product in general is faulty. The hunter green colour is nice. I would buy another pair of these if I thought they would hold up longer than a couple of wears...

LOVE THESE. They are comfy, light and breathable (But NOT too thin or see-through at all!), and easy to pull on. The waistband sits comfortably below the natural waist without feeling like they'll sag or expose your bum AND without the extra bulk that sometimes comes with zipper-fly riding pants. Sizing is accurate, too: I have a 28 inch waist, usually wear a regular length in pants, and hate the feeling of pants (Especially leggings) being too short or too tight. These riding pants fit perfectly! They are so affordable and practical for the summer that I am planning to buy more pairs in each color.

These are great riding pants for everyday or show. I loved my first pair so much that I bought two more. This is an incredible price for the good quality construction, heavy cotton fabric and serious stitching. The small zipper pocket in the front is a nice touch. Fit is a little tight but the fabric stretches amazingly well without losing shape. Besides, riding pants only look fabulous on stick chicks-- the rest of us.... well, we don't tuck in our shirts... Wash separately (some fading at first) in cold/cool water, no dryer.

the schoolers are great fit .. i am a size five (us) in jeans and this is my third pair .. fit perfectly .. the first time, I got the navy in 26 but the colour looked washed out ... my second pair was black but I lost it :( ... the only thing is that the stitching in the waist seems to rip off after awhile. My navy pair ripped after five months of use. I used them for once a week and for casual wear... other than that i had no problems with it.. I live in SoCaL so it keeps me warm in the "winter" and cool in the summer heat. Definitely recommend, especially if you are looking for something low priced to ride in.

I have been buying these for close to 7 years now. What drew me to them at first was the great price, but also the fact that they're green, which is my favorite color. I was looking for something with a little personality rather than the normal colors of tan or black. Plus, the dark color is very figure-flattering.Even in the hottest parts of summer I stay quite comfortable. I usually ride about 1 hour, and it used to be that I would get quite hot. These are very thin and breathable, and very comfy. The only downside is that after about 2-3 summers of using them, they usually get a hole on the inside of the knee at the contact point of the saddle, due to their thinness. But because the price is so low I don't mind buying them every 3 years or so.All in all, these are a great choice if you're on a tight budget but you love to ride in the heat.
