I needed a tempered needle to stitch a "kevlar" strap on a backpack. The needles won't break. I don't think I'll need to buy needles anymore unless I lose these. Other needles just break and seem to cut the thread while you're stitching. These are worth every penny.

I use these for general sewing, they are sharp and easy to thread. I like the gold eyes. They are a bit thicker than some of my other needles so sometimes I have to switch back when dealing with heavier fabrics, or use a thimble.
