I got it to practice at home the landing of high jumps and acrobatics. The surface feels very hard and did not make it easier to train than mats. I would not recommend for the same purpose.

Great mats! We have a ton of these and they get used and abused every day. They have held up very well and still look fantastic.We have 1 other brand of mat that we have used that is starting to look worn. They are about the same age, so we have a great basis for comparison.

Size and shape were accurate. It easily folds in half for storage. The quality is high and the cushioning is excellent. Not to firm or soft. It makes a perfect surface for falls and crashes during gymnastics and aerial silk.

Bought this for my son who is into parkour and home gymnastics. He immediately recognized the brand when he opened it on Christmas and has been happy as clam with it since. He works out with it every day and loves it.Bear in mind that this thing is quite big and bulky so takes up a good amount of room and therefore needs a large space.From my perspective, I like the fact that it folds in half (many do not) which makes for easier transport and storage.I am glad my son is enjoying this product as much as he is because it costs a pretty penny.

Love the size and ease of storage. Vents were a big selling point because I've used similar crash mats with no vents and the pressure from the impact causes ruptures in liner. The liner on this mat is a bit on the harder side but that makes for good durability also.
