Pony seems so much more comfortable with this rug for fly protection! One thing I would say go up a size to normal. This pony is 14.1” and bought a 5.9 Fly Rug. Great I love it!

I bought two of these rugs in two different sizes as two different sized horses. One lasted 2days before it was destroyed how it was destroyed I dont know how as we have electric fencing and nothing to catch on. The other lasted 6 days. The fit wasn't great tight on chest and neck. Other better quality makes in same sizes fit fine and have lasted a season.

I don’t know what horse this rug is designed to fit but unfortunately it is vastly wrong for my cob mare. She is quite curvy so I ordered a bigger size and still the chest straps are miles off being able to do up, meaning flies just climb under and actually get stuck under the rug (exactly the opposite of what I was trying to achieve!). I should say that I own other rugs in smaller sizes which fit well, so I don’t think my horse is too strange a shape!There are also no leg straps and on the few days of testing and trying to make this rug work, I often found it had blown up and her whole backside was exposed (and covered in flies!). I realise the description/photos do not show leg straps so that is my oversight, but it does seem like quite a design flaw to me.Unfortunately, as I had tested the rug out for a few days in trying to make it fit, the seller confirmed that I was not eligible for a refund.
