This accumulator arrived with a beat up box which had bent the lines out of shape. I slowly bent them back into positiand and it does not seem to have leaked. When I removed the covers on the end of the hoses, it was still under pressure. I knocked off one star for the poor packaging. I installed this on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0.

Supposedly this fits a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 (yes I read the questions), it does not. Not even close.

Worked as advertised. I replaced this line and the sister line to resolve an AC system leak issue. The leak was in the metal sleeve-to-rubber hose transition. Replacing lines solved problem and AC is working great now. Good quality components and exact fit for 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition 2WD, 6 cyl, 4.0L No regrets. NOTE: Pay close attention to disassembly of hose components at firewall as this line connector just plugs into the firewall block and is then secured/held in place by a flat "flag" plate on the connector of the OTHER hose line. Not too complicated. Just worth paying attention too to avoid some confusion. Always wear safety glasses/shield as charged AC system is pressurized.
