Smaller and thinner than advertised. Will hold a disposable 16 oz water bottle only. Too small for any yeti cups.

I love the cup part, but the magnet is SO disappointing. The cup is thick plastic and open partially on one side so there is flexibility on fitting different sizes of cups. This fits even my larger Stanley and my big Yeti that I love taking smoothies in. But (HUGE but!!!), the magnet that anchors the cup onto a metal surface is very disappointing. It definitely isn’t heavy duty and the sturdiness simply isn’t there. I originally gave this three stars because I like the cup holder, but now that I’m thinking about it more, since the functionality is so low, I’m going down to two. The entire point is for this to stay sturdily and securely anchored to metal, and it doesn’t do that. At all!!! This most certainly isn’t for use with a wheelchair. The second you go over even the slightest tiniest bump or ridge, the cup and holder go crashing to the ground. You can’t move or take action. Ugh! I don’t recommend this at this time.

I have been trying to find a good way to have a cup holder on my motorcycle and this is it. The cup comes with 2 sets of screws and the powerful magnet can be mounted on the bottom or on the side. There are 3 mounting holes on the side so you can adjust the magnet mounting height.The magnet has a durable rubber coating on it so it will not mar whatever metal surface you attach it to. I mounted it on the chrome top case rack and it feels solid, even with a full 30 oz stainless cup. It will also easily hold a 20 oz cup. I'm impressed with the magnetic adhesion, but I wouldn't take it very fast over a speed bump or railroad tracks. The cup holder itself is nicely made of a durable plastic with clean edges. This is my new favorite motorcycle accessory and will keep me hydrated on hot summer rides.

It holds. I put it on the refrigerator in the garage for the pictures.Working in the garage, is where we will use it the most. At first I thought we would use it for a few screws we would put in it as we worked. I didn't think the magnet would be strong enough for drinks and the spills wouldn't be worth it.I was wrong! The magnet is plenty strong. My husband took it for a ride with his convenient store cup on his lawn mower and it stayed in place.I put the magnet on the back, but it could be put on the bottom. It's easy - just a couple of little screws.A good gift for any handi-person or a stocking stuffer? It's neat.

This plastic cup holder is simple in its design and will hold various sizes of beverage cans, bottles or perhaps coffee cups. The magnet is strong and covered in a rubber type material which will protect The surfaces it is placed on from scratches. When delivered you must install the magnet yourself. It is a very simple task using the small screws provided. There are two options for mounting the magnet. It can be placed on the bottom of the cup or on the side. I found that although I mounted mine on the bottom I proffered a side mount option since my shop desk is next to a steel wall. This means I had to disassemble the installation and side mount the magnet. This is easily accomplished but I wondered why a second magnet was not supplied so that I wouldn't have to keep changing back and forth. My personal opinion is that the manufacturer should include two magnets which could both be attached and would allow the user a placement choice without having to physically change each time. I like the holder and, if the single magnet is ok with you, this is a nice little holder and it IS very handy.

A great cupholder to use, especially on old tractors. The magnet is super strong and will adhere to just about any metal surface. Easily holds a large Yeti cup very securely.
