Not impressed.. the flapper was a huge disappointment, and adjusting the height of the fill valve was not a easy task..cheap junk.. I made it work with waay too much effort that should have been needed

This toilet repair kit is really good quality. I am pleased with how sturdy and nice the components were upon opening. It was easy to install this in the bathroom toilet. I consider myself handy, so this type of replacement isn’t hard for me, but even someone inexperienced could use this and have good, successful results. This kit is a great value at this price point for the quality and effectiveness.

Not the most solid material, but it gets the job done. Comes with easy-to-follow instructions. The durability of the rubber seal at the base of the tank is questionable. I'll update this review if it leaks.

This Universal Toilet Flusher Replacement Kit exceeded my expectations! It’s a complete kit at an affordable price and comes with everything needed to stop my toilet’s slow leak. Installation was a breeze—just a couple tools and some basic DIY skills. The quiet, height-adjustable fill valve and anti-siphon design gave my old toilet a second life. It now works like new and runs efficiently. Highly recommend this kit for an easy, reliable repair!

I needed to replace the parts of my parent's toilet. This is similar to what they already had installed, the previous parts I also put in but were not acting up. This set came with everything you need to swap out the flapper, & float fill-valve.It is water-saving, & doesn't fill the tank as much as the previous one. It has no problem flushing the toilet correctly though. It was easy to install & set the water level via the small twisting screw at the top of the float valve. You can adjust it about 1.25 inches up or down. The float mechanism moves freely & smoothly. There are no leaks anywhere either. It sealed the water intake hose hole at the tank bottom well with no drip or anything. There is an adequately long piece of white hose that comes with to be the refill tube that connects to the fill valve to the overflow tube (I have no idea what it's called really lol). Just trim it to the length you need. I had to take off about 2 inches or so.The flapper is thick & good rubberized material. The small pieces that clamp onto the sides of the overflow tube are not rubber, like others I've used, but black plastic. They are thick enough to last & hold up, but were pretty tight & that was the only issue I had. They were so tight that once you compressed the handle to flush, the flapper stayed open because the clamps couldn't move freely & drop it closed again when the chain was released. I ended up taking it off again, bending the little pieces opened more & reinstalled it. That seems to have fixed it fine. It's been working great since. The chain is long & well made. I had to shorten it also & double loop it on the clasp so it wouldn't get stuck under the flapper. If you are hearing running water or the water kicking on occasionly after you flush & everything has refilled, make sure your chain is not too long. The chain can just barely get bent under the flapper preventing it from shutting all the way. After I shortened the chain i haven't had issues. The toilet works great now. It is quiet like it says & definitely won't be waking up spouses or kids at night....now if your hubby drops the lid when he's done with a 2am potty break, 🤷 can't help ya. LolHopefully this holds up well & I don't need to mess with it for a while. I find if you have hard water, toilet components get build up on them & break down faster. Cleaning the off periodically with vinegar, cleaning the tank well, all help lifespan. Bleach will work to remove build up of minerals but can also breakdown the plastic & rubber in the components.$15 & 20 mins, every 3-4 years, to keep water usage down & the toilet working well is fine by me.

I like how clean these are when installed. The inside of the tank doesn't look like such a jumbled mess. This thing's easily adjustable, both in overall height and desired water level.Initially when I hooked it up, the water level in the bowl seemed to be about an inch lower than normal. Just by adjusting the screw on the top by the ball cart (Little black floating thing) The water level was fixed easily.I highly recommend these. I think they're way more accurate than the old style. This one's a thumbs up 👍

This kit was (almost) all I needed to fix my toilet. My old valve and flap were leaky. I was able to fix the toilet fairly easily by installing this. The only tools I needed were something to cut the overfill hose down to a size that would fit properly and something to cut the chain on the flap to the correct length. The instructions were well written and illustrated. The toilet I used this on deviated a little from standard design and the included overflow hose clip sat too low in the overflow pipe for me to set the water level where it was supposed to be for this toilet. It was easy enough to reuse the clip from the old valve. After installing this, I no longer hear water trickling and the valve properly shuts off when the water level reaches the proper height. The flared rubber washer sealed against the bottom of the tank with no issues - no leaks.I can happily recommend this kit - it's a great value for the price.
