Your cart is empty.Uniweld RP3T3 Hand Torch is the right choice for small jobs in tight areas where access is limited. This lightweight, portable flametool can be operated with propane or MAP//Pro (propylene). This torch has a UT3 triple twister tip which utilizes swirl combustion technology to produce a high energy efficient flame. This torch also has our RP3E Unitorch Regulator with an internal piston design and swivel elbow for maximum control. It's tubing capacity when used with propane is up to 4" for soft solder, and 2 1/2" for silver braze. When used with MAP//Pro (propylene), its tubing capacity is up to 6" for soft solder and 4" for silver braze.

Worked great. Heated up the metal I was working on very quickly using MAP gas but it seemed like every time I used it it got worse and worse. Now only one of the 3 tips lights.If you're looking for a one or two time use this will work great but don't expect it to last!

This triple barrel Mapp/Pro Burner is perfect for brazing copper up to & including 1 1/4” Type L. Maybe 1 1/2”, but it might take a little longer. I used a Mr. Heater appliance hose & hooked it straight to a 5 lbs propane tank, so I wouldn’t keep running out of gas. I brazed two boiler headers with ease. This burner is a must have.

there used to be only one manufacturer (to my knowledge) producing the “triple tip” mapp gas torches. they went out of business so i was super happy to find out uniweld makes one now. only complaint i have is it makes a super loud whistle sound at low to medium-high heat.

My partner using this for his job and unfortunately only one of the torch holes work at full power hardly any flames comes out of the other two pipes.

This torch does its job. It gets extremely hot fast for copper brazing. It heats completely around a pipe well. Aaac service heating and air.recommends this 3 tip torch. Be careful it has a long flame. You can't always see the length in day light. This is not good for inside tight places like fixing the copper lines inside an air conditioner. Do not point it towards the siding when working on an a/c. Tip stays hot let it cool before putting it away.

Worked great for a few days but after that something came loose inside the torch turning the swirl jet style flame into a soft bic lighter style flame. It's still functional if you shake the torch head a bit to set the pieces in place but after paying around 100$ for this I'd expect more. RMA'ing this as I type. I'd suggest anyone thinking of buying this to only use propane as it seems the heat of the Mapp-Pro gas we used was the enough to expand the torch head to the point where the pieces inside were no longer secured in place. It did put off a lot of head and quickly heated anything it was pointed at but I expect more than a few days use from anything that costs me 100$.
