Looks nice but the oil already stained/burned it on medium, it's also a bit bumpy and ruined some eggs. I'll keep trying it to see if it gets easier

I was skeptical at first glance after looking at several griddles and reading negative reviews about quality and sizing, but I decided to roll the dice on this one and am glad I did. The quality is there and yes, it really is cast iron. The difference between the manufacturers product and the replacement is incomparable in quality and value. You can feel the difference when you take it out of the box.I decided to change my review to 4 instead of 5 stars after using the griddle several times for no other reason than heat distribution. I'm still very fond of the griddle but there's a definite learning curve to using cast iron on a gas stove if you're not used to cooking with cast iron. As other reviews claim, there is a degree of uneven heat distribution and hot spots causing food to cook faster and even burn in some cases. It's a matter of adjustment and getting to know your heat levels and making the necessary changes. Flavor wise, there's no comparison in taste.

It fit perfect! I prefer cast iron for griddle’s and this griddle was a great upgrade to my stove, after a good seasoning, this griddle is better than any nonstick surface and more durable. The cost was less than half the cost of the nonstick replacement.

I'm giving this griddle a 1 star review not because of the quality, but because of a design flaw and inaccurate description on the page.The item itself was rather nice and I was very happy about my purchase until I put it on my stove. The upper griddle dimensions are correct, but because the legs were designed to angle inward, they are 1/2" too short to fit on the little rubber nubs on your stove (the legs on the OEM version go straignt down and do not angle backward).They clearly stated that it fit my range make/model, but it does not, so I had to return it for a refund.

The Grill is great but it doesn't fit properly it's a little short for the ge stove.
