Switch is defective and caused engine overheat.UPDATE: I decided to play the Amazon lottery and try again... Second switch ALSO DEFECTIVE! There really should be a way to flag products or give negative stars.I ended up getting a Standard Motor Products switch from rockauto. URO parts must not have any QC checks or maybe Amazon has a bad batch. SMP advertises each switch is tested prior to shipping.

Did not work correctly. Only the high speed contact worked. Same problem as reviewer Jake had a couple of years ago. I missed the return window so I don't know if my issue would have been resolved. I verified the problem by heating water on the stove and checked the temperature with a thermometer and the contact closure with a battery and light bulb.
