Although the item appears to be of good quality, it is larger than 3/8" diameter and is not within the dimentional tolerances listed in the description. I measured it at 0.420" or about 27/64". It's useless to me for my current need, but not worth the effort to return it.I guess I should have read the previous review.

The rod was supposed to be 3/8[.375] diameter.It is .420 diameter.
