Good value for the money. I would have given igt a higher rating but the speaker suddenly stopped working. I was all set to return it when I decided to read the reviews to see if someone else had the same problem. Low and behold someone else did and he or she resolved it by merely restarting their computer. I did the same and now the speaker is working fine. Therefore, if your speaker stops working, juststry restarting your computer and hopefully it will start working for you as well.

I bought this for my 80 y.o. father to use with his current (older) cellphone. He'd been complaining about how he couldn't hear something playing on his phone despite the volume being turned all the way up. (He doesn't have hearing issues. In fact, his hearing is quite good considering his age and what he did for a living for 40+ years.) He doesn't like earphones or earbuds/earpods, so this seemed like a decent workaround. I helped him attach it to his phone's chargeport and set off a video to test it out. The speaker worked incredibly well. Dad was able to hear everything clearly with no interference, pauses, static, or fuzz. I expect he'll use it quite a bit so he doesn't miss out on whatever he's listening to. The price was good too. Expensive doesn't always mean better. I'm considering getting one for myself now that I've seen how this one handles things. This would also make a great gift as it came with an adapter that will allow its use with a desktop, a laptop, and a tablet. That kind of functionality is what I look for in electronics. Recommended!
