This is pretty much a catch all device. It has everything but a CF Express slot. Understandable to keep the size down.Other than that, this sucker has everything you could need. It is well made...metal enclosure, and everything arrived nice and tight.I have several portable battery backups, and this is going to be stored with them. No matter the issue, I'll have a way to adapt.Very nice device!

Was using a different hub but ran out of ports, so a bigger one was necessary. In terms of USB function, seems to work just fine. I actually have a couple older devices (scanners) that only work with USB2, so it's great that this hub has both USB2 and 3. All the other ports are great, though the quality of the headphone port is somewhat lacking (bit of background hiss, etc).My main complaint: the HDMI ports take a long time to respond when starting the computer or waking from sleep. You can tell the display is connected, but it can take 30 seconds for the signal to show up on the screen. Not sure if this is a software issue or just my hardware, but it's to the point of annoying. A minor annoyance, but noticeable.

I've been using this USB-C dock with my Lenovo Thinkpad, and overall, I'm very impressed. It pushes both of my external monitors at 1080p without any issues, at least for the office work and web browsing I do, and it handles charging my Lenovo just fine. All the ports — USB, LAN, and HDMI — seem to work reliably, and I haven't run into any issues yet. When I connect my work-issued Dell laptop, I do get a “slow charging” notification. I believe this is due to the power supply being a bit underpowered for that specific laptop, not a fault of the dock itself. It's very lightweight and portable, which is a plus, and it performs nearly on par with my Dell dock that costs significantly more. It doesn’t have display ports, but for the price, it’s probably 95+% of the way there. Do keep in mind that it doesn't come with a power supply. It uses a 100W one, which I believe is more than what most consumer laptops are bundled with (I think 65W is average). But if you already have a power supply or can pick up one for cheap, it's a great option for anyone looking for a solid USB-C dock without breaking the bank.

I was looking for something like this to hook up my 3rd monitor, albeit it's VGA, not HDMI like the other 2 ports, but still, it's good enough for me. I am using Windows, and this docking station works just fine for my needs. It's so nice to have the option for that 3rd monitor when I need it for my laptop. It's also great for those older monitors that do not have an HDMI port or the newer laptops that do not have a VGA port as well, I suppose you can get a VGA/HDMI adapter for those situations. My laptop has a Thunderbolt port built in, so it works well with this station. All the other ports worked as expected, also. I don't have a Mac, so not sure how it works with a Mac Notebook.

I don't have two full size external displays to test here - just my embedded device display as a second display (well, third according to Linux since I also have my internal laptop display enabled).I have my laptop display @ 3840x2400 60Hz (4k 16:10), my small 7" display for embedded projects at 1024x600 59.82Hz (16:9), and my normal external display at 2560x1440 59.95Hz (16:9)The embedded display is at its max display res (yeah, it's small, pretty low res). The external can go up to 4k (3840x2160) 120Hz...I am unable to get it to go up to 4k/3840x2160). If things are using the Display Port 1.2 protocol, then this makes sense, however I'm unsure how to determine that. From my understanding, I should be able to drive my external monitor at 4k 60Hz, but alas, if I have a third monitor (my small embedded project display) connected, I can't get it to display above 2560x1440 @ 60Hz.Regarding the rest of the features of this -- it works very well. I didn't have a 100W USB-PD power supply available to test the 100W passthrough capabilities, but I did have a 65W PD power supply to test, and that seemed to work ok. It isn't powerful enough to keep the charge of my laptop up while using it, but I could see that it was indeed providing power, reducing the drain on the battery and prolonging things before the battery runs out.My webcam worked great, and my Ethernet->USB-C cord worked just as well when connected natively to my laptop's USB-C ports -- able to download and upload at about 940MBit.The SD card works well.My main issue I was having with my laptop is that I was out of USB-C ports. This requires using a USB-C port, but in turn you gain 3 10Gbit USB-C ports, and a 100W PD-in passthrough USB-C port, as well as 2 more USB-A 3.1 10GBit ports, and a USB-A 2.0 480Mbit port. lots of expansion, and now I only have to connect a single data connection when I plug my laptop in.

This is a nice docking station. Good size, supports dual monitors. Has both USB-C and USB-A ports. It requires a USB-C power supply in order to charge your laptop.Thoughts:- Its got a lot of ports - 2xHDMI, USB-A and USB-C ports- Requires a USB-C power supply that is not provided (assuming you want to charge your laptop). Without it, I assume it is pulling power from the laptop to power the devices (e.g. USB devices) connected to the docking station. Since I had one of these it wasn't a problem, but if you don't getting one of these will add to the overall cost.- I had trouble with my monitor. I have a very large monitor (38 inch) and was unable to get this docking station to work with the monitor. I have used other docking stations with the monitor and they worked. When I have monitor problems I am never sure if its my fault, the docking stations/computers fault or the monitors fault. All I can say is I had trouble getting it to work. Why 4-stars, because I could not get my monitor to work and it requires you to get a USB-C power supply.
