I wear this helmet for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. I love it! It looks nice, doesn't get too hot, doesn't get in my way at all. I pretty much forget about wearing it because it's not much heavier to wear than a thick hat but the protection is excellent. I feel much safer wearing this out and about fro my winter activities. In the summer if I go riding with my husband or friends this will be an excellent helmet for that too. It adjusts easily. I'm very impressed with the build quality and would recommend it to anyone!

This MIPS equestrian helmet offers the protection you want in case of falls. The fit adjustments work great, and the helmet is light weight, cool and comfortable.

Very nice riding helmet - well-designed, sturdy, comfortable, lots of options for adjustment to fit you just right. Love the little gap in the back to account for your ponytail. Single, easy-to-find button to release the chin strap. Fits securely on my head. Wish that the product info or photos included a sizing chart - I had to look on the uvex website to figure out what size I needed. Comes with a drawstring bag to store it in. Great quality.

This is my second Uvex MIPS helmet. I wear one or the other every time I ride. They fit very well, and are comfortable and good looking. The navy blue color is really pretty, and matches my dressage shadbelly coat for showing. These helmets are protective without a lot of extra fluff - there is a minimal liner- just enough for comfort and the adjustable band for a custom fit. Because of this, I feel like it is one of the most lightweight and cool helmets I’ve worn. Since I live in Texas, the cool factor is VERY important and I have set aside many a pricier helmet that had so much padding that I felt as if my brain had cooked after one ride.I like the chin strap closure too. You can do and undo it up with just one hand.In the recently released protective rankings, Uvex helmets scored very well.

When I ordered this, there was very little information on Amazon so I went to the UVEX site to decide if this helmet would be good for me. I liked the concept of the sizing and have wanted a MIPS helmet to better protect my melon. The helmet looks nice, it is clear the construction of the helmet is top notch. Unfortunately the sizing chart on the website is off and the helmet is too small for my giant head. Taking a star off for incorrect sizing but otherwise super nice helmet.

I had been looking for a lightweight schooling helmet I can wear during the very hot and sweaty Texas summers. I also wanted my next helmet to have the MIPS certification. This helmet is very comfortable and with the adjustable sizing dial, I can wear it no matter if my hair is up or down. The chin strap is comfortable and non-irritating. The air vents keep air circulating and keep your head from getting too hot.The profile on this helmet is pretty big. I certainly look like a bubble head when wearing it. Thankfully, at my age I care more about safety than appearance. Just worth noting. Well priced and Uvex is known for protection. I would purchase again.

This is a great Riding Helmet and is exactly as the Product Page described. It seems to be made of High Quality Materials and has been working great for me. Mine came with a nice cinch bag to protect it when not in use. I'm extremely happy with it and do recommend it.
