Method for Replacing Capacitors:
- 1. Cut off the power first to avoid electric shock;
- 2. Discharge the old capacitor;
- 3. Install the new capacitor according to the original wiring method.

Note:
If the ceiling fan works slowing down or cannot work or cannot work at different speeds as it used to, please check the CBB61 ceiling fan capacitor first. The capacitor may be burnt out or weak, you need to replace it with a new one.

My range hood started smoking and made the worst burning smell. When I looked inside I saw smoke and heard a buzzing.Electrician came out and told me it was nothing he could fix so with nothing to lose I started exploring and saw the capacitor had burned up. The buzzing noise should have clued me in.The numbers on this one matched up to the one that burned up. This one has wires and the one I was replacing had tabs so I spliced it in and it has been working.My range hood is kind of old and there was no chance of getting spare parts so this saved me a fortune of replacing the entire hood… so 5 stars!
