Simple 2" cover for our hitch, will definitely help keeping out moisture and grime from the rear.

I recently bought a new (to me) 2017 Silverado 1500. It came with a hitch cover with the dealer's logo on it, but I wanted something more "neutral" so I decided to give this one a shot.It installs very easily. You just slip the rubber piece around the hitch and then fold the end piece up and it sticks right in place. I've had it installed for over a week and it hasn't budged one bit. It should do a great job of preventing water from getting in my hitch, which will help keep rust at bay.It seems like it's well built and should last a long time, most likely for the life of the vehicle. It's made of a soft, but durable rubber material. For the price, this hitch cover is easily worth it.

This looks and feels nicer than I expected for under $10. The flag detail is a thin metal veneer that is held on by a few tabs bent around the backside. Not the most dependable build quality, but again, the price is very low. The retainer strap fits great and so does the plug itself. Everything is nice and secure. It looks great and functions as advertised. The rubber itself is nice and thick. I'm happy with it.

I like this style trailer hitch cover, as you can leave it attached even when you are using the hitch. It came perfect size, and installs in about 30 seconds. I noticed that the flag portion was attached with bent tabs in the back, so I took off the flag and am using it just in plain flat black, which I think looks much better than drawing attention to the hitch. They sell it plain as well, and I think for a dollar or so less than this one, so if you also like the plain look, you can save yourself a tiny bit of cash. There's nothing wrong with the flag piece, I just think it looks better plain. These are great for keeping your hitch from filling up with crud/dirt/mud, etc. and for the price, totally worth it. This is a very well made hitch cover. I like it because you can’t lose it. It stays secure in place and when you install a hitch you don’t have to take it off.The design is very cool too! Only noticeable to maybe the car behind you in traffic but it’s a nice touch!

I got this to replace the very similar one (plain - no flag) I've had on 2 of my vehicles for the past 20+ years. Believe it or not the old one is still functional after all those years. It is no longer black-black but more grayish now, but then again so is the hitch receiver it covers. Just thought it would be nice to update, and give it a little more pizazz with the flag emblem. The old one came off easily, and the rubber is still pliable! This one took just a little effort to pull over the hitch, but it fit just fine. It was at this point I noticed there is a film/cover on the outside to protect the flag portion during shipping. That actually was the most difficult part of installing the cover. The film didn't want to come off in one piece, and kept hanging up on the side clamps holding the flag portion to the attachment portion. Ended up taking it off in small sections and having to scrape with my nail to get the remnants off.It was then I noticed the biggest drawback to this cover. When you insert it into the hitch, it simply butts up against the outside of the hitch, unlike my old one that completely covered the hitch, including the sides. The old one basically encapsulated the hole hitch to prevent water and debris from entering. This UYYE cover does not cover as completely, leaving room for ingress of water and dirt. My old one also had a place to insert and protect a 4 or 5 pin flat trailer connector as well. This one does not. With that being said, it does look quite nice. The flag is understated, and gives it just a bit of an added panache. I like the look. It kinda sticks out being new and bright and shiny on a 25 year old truck, but it will fade over time and fit right in. At least I hope so - if it lasts that long. Time will tell. I highly doubt it will last the 20+ years the old one did, but when/if it fails, I still have the old one that I can replace it with! For $9, this is a good buy. I just wish they had made this so it enclosed the hitch, instead of just butting up to it. It would be worth paying a couple of more dollars to get one that protects as well as my 20 year old one did.
