The brackets that came with it we're too short called manufacture and they sent me longer ones which were still too short. It is now sitting in my backyard.

Took an hour or two to install. I have a 4 post lift, so it made it easier. However, it can easily be done on the ground or jacked on jack stands.Overall, it's thin metal, so don't expect it to be functional. I feel like it is purely esthetic and that's really all I want it for.However, I get many compliments on it. So, I feel like it does the job.

You will need to purchase additional steel plates/brackets to extend the vanguard bull bar since the 18+ MDX has a pointy bumper design. you will also need to ditch the vanguard logo plate (held on by a few screws). The additional steel plates will allow the bar to also be a bit higher and you will have about 6.5 inches of clearance. if you install it with the hardware provided it can work, but your clearance will be less than 5 inches and you will drag/bottom out plus damage your bumper.

The bumper guard fit as if it was designed by my car's manufacturer! It looks beautiful and protects my vehicle from bumps and scrapes of city driving and parking.
