WHAT: VEHICAR Swan Needle Felting Kit, A Couple Swan Doll Nonfinished, Felted Swan with CrownMY PURPOSE: I've never felted before and I wanted to learn how so I could fix my dryer balls.WHAT I ENJOYED ABOUT THIS KIT:* Everything included for this little project* Swans are pretty* Doing the swans teaches many felting concepts* Finger guards includedTIPS:* Portion the wool before you start, remember there are 2 swans.* Wear the finger guards and watch the needles* Obviously this is not a kit that you give a child* It takes a LOT of poking to shape the wool* This activity takes hours - it takes time to poke the wool into shape. BUT it's therapeutic - poke out all your frustrations!* Don't expect perfection, felting is a skill, practice and enjoy the process.OVERALL: This is a good kit to learn and practice felting techniques. I think this was not the best FIRST project. A simple ball or egg shaped creature would make a better first project. This would be better as a 2nd or 3rd project. BUT I think I know enough to repair my dryer balls now which I'm hoping will be easier than making these beautiful swans!

This is a super cute wool needle felting kit. Everything needed to complete this project is in the box and it’s a great way to learn needle felting. It’s a fun and relaxing hobby and is so easy to learn, it’s a great way to de-stress.
