I knew it was a returned item as soon as I opened the box.The paint was scratched and it was missing a piece.I'll deal with it, but I'm not happy about it.

The arms sag down a bit even when properly installed and with featherweight shèers on them. Nice finish & concept, otherwise

These were so easy to install. They are sturdy, elegant looking and versatile for almost all makes of curtains

As lovely as these are to look at, they cannot hold any weight. I wish I had listened to the other reviewers. It's possible they may be able to hold sheers, but I doubt it. Even after installing just one, appropriately, they sag without anything on them.

This worked to solve a problem. I think it’s a little flimsy but if you treat it gently I think it will be okay.

I am usually disappointed in the curtain rods I buy. Flimsy and hard to put up. This pair are well made, look great and I had no problem putting them on the wall. Nice product. Pleasant surprise. Very glad I bought them.I have very lightweight cotton curtains on them. Not heavy at all.

I accidentally came upon swing arm curtain rods while searching for rod ideas for our inside French door. In our case, we needed to be able to introduce light in the daytime, but have some privacy at night. I love these rods. They were easy to install and perform exactly as expected. I combined them with a white voile curtain and the results are fantastic! I will mention that they do rattle a bit due to the frequency of use for that door but that was easily solved with a set of Command damage-free hangers. We love em! If we want more light, we simply open them and voila, more light! The color is great. We couldn't be more pleased. Give them a try!

I installed these on French doors for a Bedroom/Office. They worked really well and do seem strong enough for decent curtains. Overall I am very satisfied. I also like the swing feature to open them up for more light.Instructions are pretty basic, as there are many ways you could install these. Here are some recommendations based on my method of install.1st. - Have the curtains you are going to use prior to installing. 2nd - When installing the hinges, if your door swings all the way open consider where your door trim is and where the curtain hinge bracket will be when the door is opened all the way. I spaced mine in far enough so that the curtain bracket and door trim do not come in contact when the door is fully opened. I did this because our doors will open all the way against the wall.3rd - Install top rod/bracket on door first and put on curtain. Next put rod in curtain on the bottom. If you will be gathering curtain in the middle for that "gathered look", then you will want to gather the curtain fabric now, and then determine mounting location for bottom rod/bracket. If you mount the bracket without the curtain gathered, you may find that by gathering the curtain their is not enough slack, and the curtain will pull more on the rods.
