I am building a monitor barn for a wood shop and plan to use an upper loft for the lumber storage. I got this to hang from the beam on a block and tackle so I can hoist up Sheets of plywood and rough cut slab table tops. this is all steel and is very heavy duty. I am also stating to get into some metal work and can see this be helpful with sheets of metal. This is more than I need but if I get into stone work it will be handy for that as well. This is a great price

Per my husband, Vinny: This is an excellent quality clamp. We do a lot of lifting of heavy sheet metal and such in our warehouse and the Senhill Vertical Plate Lifting Clamp has helped out significantly. None of our guys are young bucks anymore and we've all got bad backs due to too many years of lifting improperly. Thankfully, this clamp was super easy to install and use, and for as tough/strong as it is and as well as it has been working for us, the $60 price tag made it a no-brainer to get. We'll probably get a couple more, even if I have to pay for them out of pocket. Saves me from more chiropractic visits, which are at least that EACH time! Solid product.
